Position Summary

The Craft Beverage Production & Operations Associate will be a key player in our day-to-day manufacturing, sales and distribution process. This individual will work closely with our production team to ensure that our maple- and honey-infused beverages are consistently crafted, packaged, and delivered at the highest quality. The associate will also assist in logistics, inventory management, and last but not least our sales team, making this role critical to our ability to scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support:

  • Operate and monitor brewing, mixing, and carbonation equipment in accordance with company protocols.
  • Assist in bottling, canning, and labeling processes, ensuring accurate and consistent packaging.
  • Uphold quality control standards through regular sampling and product testing.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

  • Track incoming raw materials (e.g., maple syrup, honey, packaging supplies) and notify the team of inventory levels.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas with an emphasis on food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.

Packaging & Fulfillment:

  • Prepare orders for retail outlets, online shipments, and event distribution.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries to meet customer deadlines, maintaining comprehensive shipment records.
  • Ensure packaging is compliant with label regulations and brand standards.

Sales & Event Assistance:

  • Pounding the pavement looking for new vendors in the North!!
  • Participate in local market events, fairs, and festivals to represent the brand, answer customer questions, and manage on-site sales.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to help refine future product offerings.
  • Support the sales team with order processing, account management, and promotional activities.

Administrative Duties & Reporting:

Assist with basic record-keeping such as batch logs, shipping manifests, and purchase orders.

Compile production and sales data to inform management decisions and forecasting.

  • General Startup Support:
  • Work collaboratively with the entire team, offering hands-on help where needed to meet tight deadlines and operational goals.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, cost savings, and new product development.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging work environment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage production, brewing, or a related manufacturing environment is an asset (though not strictly required).
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance practices is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn the operation of mixing, carbonation, and packaging equipment.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping, data entry, and google docs.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational abilities, especially in balancing multiple tasks within a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Attention to detail, particularly where product quality and labeling are concerned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift materials and products (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.

Comfortable standing for extended periods and moving between production stations.

  • Additional Assets:
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort operating delivery vehicles is required.
